I am all about fish curry - I absolutely love them. As much as I love a good old chicken tikka masala or chasni, a seafood curry is very difficult for me to resist. This is a sea trout curry with a coconut and lemongrass sauce. I personally prefer white fish over oily in a curry, so I wasn’t sure I’d love this, but it was so beautiful and the flavours all worked perfectly. I’d definitely order this one again 🥥👌🏼
Ye cannae beat a wee banana fritter 🍌 But seriously, you can’t beat this one. Oh my GOD it was so delicious! I chose to swirl the coconut & pandan ice cream with mango & calamansi sorbet...a winning combination on their own, believe me! The banana fritters are drizzled one palm sugar caramel and the entire dish had lime zest sprinkled. Like the caramel chicken, it was an 11/10 must order dish! I absolutely loved it 😍
This is like one of those ‘When you meet your heroes’ posts, except my hero isn’t a sports figure or film star...it’s a bowl of chicken balls. Fancy chicken balls, mind you. I met up with @glasgowfoodgeek and told her to order for me - her advice is THAT on point. My only stipulation was that I needed this dish, and she confirmed that was essential! This here is the Spicy Caramel Fried Chicken which I’d been absolutely dying to try and it not only met my expectations but massively exceeded them. The batter is SO delicious and is really thick so you get that perfect t crisp texture but also the night softness inside. The chicken was beyond tender and the sauce just...next level. A MUST order. 11/10 for effort @kapaogla 🙌🏼🔥

Surf ‘n’ Turf 🥩 Ever since finishing Veganuary I’ve had insane meat cravings - which is weird because I didn’t feel this way last year and I wouldn’t describe myself as someone who ordinarily eats much meat anyway! We went out for a meal before the theatre and I absolutely couldn’t resist steak with the added bonus of king prawns! It absolutely hit the spot - this place offers an amazing steak with glorious sides! My full review is on the blog now 📲 Where else in Edinburgh is good for steak? I always go for steak in Glasgow but would like to venture east!
Blank Canvas 🍋 Ketel One vodka, lemon, sugar syrup, soda and then you choose a flavoured vodka. I love these! I like Revolutions food usually, but their Brunch Club leaves too much to be desired if I’m honest 😬 I think I’ll stick to their drinks as they never fail!
There is never a day that I don’t want a Paesano. The only thing that stops me is having to leave the house to be completely honest 🍕
Scottish salmon 🏴 There is nothing quite like a high quality Scottish smoked fish. This salmon was so, so similar in flavour and texture to Tobermory trout (@tobermoryfishco ) which to me is the number one of all smoked fish - you can even see from the colour in the picture how rich and gorgeous this was! It was served with mackerel pate and oatcakes with a wee salad. Beautiful 👌🏼
