I am so excited that my sourdough starter is now fully in the swing of it and is ready to make bread...unfortunately I’m currently waiting on my third order of bannetons to arrive - the first two got lost in the post 😩 In the meantime I made a pizza with it and it worked a belter 👌🏼
‪This is all I care about eating these days. Feta & watermelon with a chopped salad of spinach, radishes, cherry tomatoes, cucumber and red onion with balsamic vinegar. Also beaut with strawberries 🍉🍓‬

They don’t call it a Masterpiece for nothin’. I have been promising myself a @mibbiesaye for ages as I was under the (incorrect) impression that they delivered to my house. When I realised they didn’t, I decided to leave it until everything goes back to normal as I haven’t been going anywhere. Literally woke up this morning with one thing on my agenda: drive to Hamilton and get a Masterpiece 😂 100% worth it. For those of you who haven’t seen me post about it before, it’s a baguette with slow roasted beef, sliced fondant potato, caramelised onion, home made coleslaw, cheddar slices, roasted tomatoes and spinach.
Alfresco dining 😍 One way to instantly feel amazing about life. We marinated prawns and scallops this morning before we went a huge walk, then we cracked open the booze and got to grilling/coleslaw making. Now sitting out the back enjoying the evening 🥃
Having lots of free time has allowed me to make and eat pizza, all the while drinking rum - I’d say that’s a silver lining in all of this.
This picture is awful and I never intended to share it, but I’ve had so many conversations with people about the blue cheese coleslaw on my stories that I figured I should just forget the pretentiousness of social media and share! I mixed @franksredhot_uk Buffalo sauce with chicken I had left from a roast, and just heated it up and smacked it into a brioche bun hiding in my freezer. I coupled it with my usual home made coleslaw which I pimped out with blue cheese. Search ‘coleslaw’ on my blog and it’s the first recipe to come up - just add half a block of @saint_agur 👌🏼
When I go to Nando’s, I always have a salad. I always get slagged but honestly it’s the best. Strangely, when I made my own, I went for a burger. The effort of doing the chicken, corn on the cub, salad and fries was not worth it - too much going on. The chicken was banging so I’ll definitely do it again, except I’ll take the easy road and make a salad instead 🐔
