I had an amazing afternoon learning how to make sushi with Mayuko’s Kitchen. Such a relaxed and fun experience, and I have to say, the sushi is the nicest I’ve tried - her ingredients were so beautiful. I’d recommend this class to anyone who likes sushi! 🍣🥢 #mayukoskitchen

I also just wanted to check in and clarify something - I’m 100% transparent about any gifts or freebies I am given, and I always write #gifted on those posts. I’ve had a hankering for paella all week, but now I’ve diverted it to risotto after thinking about this one. Risotto is something that usually bores me, so I never order it. This one however was anything but boring - it was so, SO tasty! I really miss being on the island! Grilled Gigha Halibut with crab & samphire risotto, drizzled with lobster oil 🤤

I have had the Mondayest Monday ever and I ate a leftover slice of pizza microvwaved to cheer myself up. Instead of my soggy pizza with a bite already missing from it, here is a stunning work of art from the pizza magicians at Baffo 🍕
I could really go some pitta breads and a wide range of dips from Baba - I imagine a dream scenario would be one of everything. I loved the beetroot hummas with feta, but I especially love their baba ganoush with pomegranate and mint - it’s sheer indulgence! 👌🏼
Good morning Saturday ☀️ Where is everyone branching today? I’m on a spending ban which is a double act because it’s helping me empty my freezer! While I eat my basic AF toast, I’ll be dreaming of an ice-cold fresh-squeezed orange juice in the west end as I flicked through an exciting menu 🍊💕
Hibiscus & rose panna cotta, charred pineapple, peanuts & condensed milk 🌺 I rarely bother with desserts, but when I do, it’s usually something along the lines of this! Creamy, nutty, refreshing and/or floral. I absolutely love any floral taste in a desert or cocktail, and the hibiscus with the creamy panna cotta was lovely and mild. Delicious!
These popped into my head today and I am really craving them! Delicious garlicky and spiced sweetcorn fritters dunked in tamarind chutney 🌽👌🏼
