I have been insta-stalking The Mac Factory ever since I came across their account! I was furious that I hadn’t spotted them at Camden Town Market when I was last there! This time I sought them out and I ordered the Super Mario 🍄 Their macaroni cheese is absolutely gorgeous - proper cheesey goodness! The Super Mario is topped with mixed sautéed mushrooms and truffle oil 😍 I highly recommend it! (I personally would ask them to hold the breadcrumbs in future as I really wasn’t keen, but the food under them was utterly brilliant!
Breakfast 🍋 - Sicilian lemon olive oil donut with Amalfi candied lemons.
Ate brunch. Drank rum (etc). Missed dinner. Went to see John Mayer. Found myself at midnight absolutely RAVENOUS. Thank god for pizza 🍕
Brunch number two of London was another belter found through the vegan food app @happycow - I ordered the veggie breakfast which was goats cheese, scrambled egg, yiachni (a tomato potato stew), avocado, salad and toast. My friend ordered the vegan breakfast which was houmous and roasted vegetables. Absolutely glorious food and the best latte I’ve had in ages! ☕️🥗
For me the mark of an excellent cafe is their ability to cater for everyone and do it really really well, and a good indicator of this is excellent vegan/gluten free options. This adorable little nook in Deptford is a hidden gem - a must if you love all day brunch and good food! I ordered the Bubble & Squeak hash browns which were made with parsnip, carrot & potato, topped with poached eggs, smoky bacon, chestnut mushrooms & chutney. 🍳🥓It was supreme!
Has this been an exhausting week or is it just me?! This weekend calls for [a little more work, then] white carbs and lying on the couch 👌🏼
If there’s a better pizza on this planet than @paesanopizzaglasgow then I’m not sure I want to know as I think the excitement would kill me. Im desperate to try new things here but I can’t see past this one with roasted red peppers, spinach, tomato sugo, mozzarella, ricotta andni always add Spianata spicy salami and mushrooms! Basically I mash options 4 & 6 and it’s deeeeelicious! I think I could eat pizza, especially pizza like this, every day.
Is there anything better than a good pasta dish? My friends and I decided to go for a local Italian and a few drinks and what a great choice this wee place is! It’s super low key, inexpensive and their food is so tasty! I ordered the king prawn and langoustine spaghetti with a tomato, chilli and garlic sauce. Delicious! 🍝
Photos can’t capture the absolute beauty that is The Masterpiece sandwich 😍 The baguette (which was an amazing baguette as it was fresh and crisp but also held its shape - quite often I find baguettes really tough to eat!) slow roasted brisket beef, fondant potato, roasted cherry tomatoes, caramelised onions, mature cheddar cheese, spinach and coleslaw. It was absolutely top notch, and it’s such a cute little sandwich shop! 🥪👌🏼
